On September 30, 2005, the day after all
National Leaders from each respective SSEAYP participating countries had
returned home from the first COC Meeting of the 32nd SSEAYP 2005 in
Tokyo, Japan, the Cambodian Contingent 2005 paid a courtesy call to H.E.
Kol Pheng, Senior Minister and Minister of Education, Youth and Sports.
Led by their NL, Mr. Hor Samnang, they were also accompanied by Ms. Sroy
Socheath, the Acting President of SSEAYP International Cambodia (SIC).
The two Cambodian participating youth to the 21st Century Renaissance
Youth Leader Invitation Program 2005 namely Mr. Kang Rithisal (CPY
2003), SIC's Head of Social and Recreational Affairs and Mr. Sreang
Kimly (CPY 2004), Head of Public Relations also joined the group.
After a long moment of friendly talk, the
Minister promised to host a dinner reception for all CPYs 2005 before
their upcoming departure in November.
